Could I Still Be Pregnant Despite Having Spotting Along With Negative UPT?

Last month I had only one day of a period which was may 11th. My husband and I had sex on may 25/26th. Well I have had nausea, lower back pain, small cramps, breast tenderness and darker nipples.. We thought I was pregnant because last week the 1-4th I was spotting. And my period was due today and no period but, negative pregnancy test... What could be going on? Am I pregnant or no?

Hi,
Home pregnancy tests read well when performed 3-7 days after a missed period with a fresh early morning sample of urine. In the current scenario, you should repeat the HPT after a couple of days. If you wish for an earlier and better confirmation, you can get an assessment of the serum beta-hCG titres done. A trans-vaginal sonogram done a week after the missed period will help to know the status of the pelvic organs. Please see a specialist in person for further help. Take care.
