Hi, I am suffering with loose motion. For consecutive two nights I felt like indigation with fever and loose motion started from yesterday. I took brake tablet in morning today but till now no relief. I dont have stomach pain either. Should I take norflox tz.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
As per your symptoms, you have food poisoning which is mostly due to bacterial contamination of food. Yes, you can take norflox-TZ twice a day (one after breakfast and other after dinner) for 5 days.
It will reduce the loose motions. Along with it, you should take probiotic medicines (sporolac) in the lunch time.
Drink lot of fluids and take Oral rehydration solution, it will save you from dehydration.
If problem persist visit a physician.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Vivek Goyal
