Could Pause Tablet Provide False HPT?

my wife took pause tablet on june 24th due to heavy periods. she missed a period. we waited till aug 1st and conducted pregnancy test, its negative. We again did a home pregnancy test on 8/12, it says +ve.. But during AUG 1st to 8th she undergone scaning due to her other health issues as well. did pause tablet provide false information ? We will be meeting doctor today.. but we would like to know from you

Pause tablet contains tranexamic acid which helps in stopping of bleeding it does not affect the outcome of pregnancy test. Coming to your second question Home pregnancy test shows positive findings after 2 weeks of delay periods however they are not confirmatory for that USG under gynaecologist is advisable.
