Could Sarcoidosis Cause Cataract And Glucoma In Eyes?
respected sir, my wife is victim of Sarcoidosis, before 2 years we went to PGI, Chandigarh, they given Wyclone & Betnesol-N steriod. but after 1year & 6 month in one eye cataract & other cataract convert to glucoma. Is it possible due to Sarcoidosis or some other reason. please help us, thanks
I reviewed your history. It seems from the history that your wife is having cataract and glaucoma. Sarcoidosis can cause these as a complication of uveitis if there is ocular sarcoidosis. But the steroid drugs are known more commonly to cause this.
Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination for confirmation of diagnosis and treatment accordingly.
Hope this is helpful to you.
