Could A Decidual Cast Indicate Pregnancy?

Hi, I'm not sure how this site works, but I had a question. I believe I just passed a decidual cast while on the first day of my period. I am on ortho-tricyclin (Trinessa). I had sex roughly three weeks ago and the condom slipped but my partner never finished. Could a decidual cast mean that I was pregnant?

Hello ma'am and welcome.

A decidual cast is most commonly mistaken for a miscarriage and in most cases is just the late shedding of the inner lining of the uterus called the endometrium. As your partner did not ejaculate inside of you, conception is almost completely ruled out.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
