Could A Delayed Heavy Period With Pain And Cramping Be A Pregnancy?

Hello. I had a miscarriage on 6/20/14, and ever since my cycles have become shorter(21 days). This month my period was 5 days late, heavy, and slightly painful. I also started cramping 3 dpo. What i m wondering is, since i am ttc, is it possible that i could have been preg, or am i even ovulating at all?

Doing a pregnancy test would have given you the correct answer. It may have been a very early abortion but you can't do anything now.
