Hello,
I have gone through your query and understand your concerns.

-If your body is going through an unusual hormonal shift, you may experience a lighter period than normal. This is typically the most common cause for a light menses.
-A light period can be a symptom of early pregnancy. If your menstrual cycle is usually regular, but your period is late, light bleeding could be a sign of pregnancy. If this is the case, the bleeding that you’re experiencing is known as implantation bleeding. When a fertilized egg attaches to the uterine lining, bleeding can occur. Implantation bleeding is much lighter than a regular period and will only last a day or two.
I suggest you to have a urine pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy with early morning urine sample.

Hope this answers your query.

Regards,
Dr.Alekhya.
