Could A Lump On The Forehead Of A Child Be A Matter Of Concern?

Hai Dr, my son is 3 and a half yr. He just hit the wall now with his forehead while he was busy jumping on the bed. His not bleeding bt his got a bump or bruise in his forehead. I gave him a paracetamol for pain bt his playing as if nothing hepend. Should I be worried about his situation?

well from your description, it does not seem like very severe....
but first some queries...
is the bump very big?
did he vomit or get unconscious following the injury?
is he somewhat drowsy?

if all the answers are no....you should not worry....
give him syrup paracetamol or dissolved tablets...
apply cold compress or ice for 2-3 days thrice daily...
keep an eye on him for some days for any symptoms...
