Could A Period Delay, Cramping, Backache And Nipples Sensitivity Be A Pregnancy?

Hello, My period is 5 days late, but i seem to have all they symptoms of period coming (eg: cramping and backache). My nipples are very sensitive, and this is the first time I ve ever been this late. I have not yet done a pregnancy test, but is there a chance I could be pregnant?

Hello,
I have gone through your query and understood the concern. If you never had a delayed period prior to this, are sexually active without any contraception, your chances of conception are high. You can get a home pregnancy test done with a fresh early morning sample and watch the result. Your symptoms are not specific for pregnancy, they can also mean an impending period. You can also get an estimation of the serum beta-hCG titres done for an earlier and better clarification. Hope your query has been clarified. Take care.
