Could A Pinching Sensation And Dry Cough When Lying Down Be Caused By Something Stuck In My Throat?

I have what feels like something is pinching my throat, on the right side. My throat does not hurt, but when I lay down, it almost feels like I have something stuck, like a popcorn seed, on the right side. Dry cough, only when I lay down... any ideas?
