Could A Psychiatrist Help To Treat Chronic Insomnia?
I can t stop thinking when I try to fall asleep. SInce my last child was born about 5 years ago, my stress level has been very high. As a result, I developed chronic insomnia. I ve been prescribed many sleeping pills and depression pills, but many of them do not work or they only work for short period of time. I am currently taking Klonopin (or Clonazepam). It helps me sleep for a couple hours, but it doesn t help me stay asleep. It was suggested that I consult a psychiatrist, but I m not sure. Will it help?
