Could Abdominal Cramps Along With Vaginal Bleeding Be Early Signs Of Pregnancy?

Dear Doctor, I am really confused and sad :( :( I am married and i am 36 yrs. Me and my husband are trying for a baby for past 2months but we are getting failed again and again. I have been using clearblue ovulation kit to understand my ovulation days and have been making love during that time. My last period was in March -13th, 14th and 15th. Based on the ovulation days which falls on 25th to 31st March we had unprotected sex. This month i started with lower abdominal pain on 15th April with brown discharge and then followed by heavy flow by 17th April- 18th April. I still feel that persistent light abdominal cramp. I had checked my 21 day ovulation test and the doctor mentioned that i am ovulating well. Kindly help! I would like to know if these are the early signs of pregnancy or my periods have started little late? Also, can you please suggest with further steps to do any kind of test ? I am desperate to get a baby as my age is becoming a big problem. Kind Regards Modaz
