Could Abdominal Cramps And Swelling Be Due To A Pregnancy?

Hi, my last period day 1 was 23 Dec. We tried to conceive for 2 prime weeks... im having cramps in my lower abdomen and its a bit swollen also.... apart form this no other symptoms are visible... can i be pregnant or are these cramps referring to my period that is still 1 week later?

Cramping can be experienced as the fertilized ovum is transported through the fallopian tube. To know for sure and early enough, you can get an assessment of the serum beta-hCG titres ten days after ovulation. If pregnancy is negative, the cramping is due to an impending period.
