Could Abdominal Pain, Fever, Chills, Lower Back Pain And Headaches Be Symptoms Of Gonorrhea?

Last Wednesday I had unprotected sex. My friend said I could get pregnant or have gonorrhea.. The guy that I had sex with said he had gonorrhea a year ago.. So I took the morning after pill within 72 hours. I have been having abdominal pain, a fever, chills, lower back pain, and headaches. Is this normal? I have also been reading a lot about pregnancy, gonorrhea, and the morning after pill. Is it possible I am making myself sick?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, I have gone through your query and understood your worries. With this clinical presentation, this first thing to think of is Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID). This diseases can be caused by many germs but the most frequent are gonorrhea and chlamydia, which are sexually transmissible. In my opinion, I would suggest you consult a general/family doctor or a gynecologist for proper assessment and management.
I hope I have answered your query
I wish you good health
