Could Accidentally Popped Pimple In Ear Cause Ear Infection?

I popped a pimple in my ear by accident. I was scratching it and think I heard the fluid rush out, but there s no fluid outside, so I m thinking it went into my ear? 1. Is this even possible? 2. Could this develop into an ear infection or an infection such as meningitis? Or a mastoid bone infection? Thanks

Hi,

Yes, it can cause ear infections and might need antibiotics if an infection happens. It can also lead to spread to the mastoid bone if left untreated.
