Could Acid Reflux Cause Dry Itchy Cough With Phlegm?
i was taking hyd post-chlor cough syrup, but i still have this dry cough, itchy throat phlegm stuck on my throat; at night i always have to spit lot of saliva; a sympton similar to what pregnant women get! this is been going on for a couple of months so far, the doctor said it could be acid reflux

there is a chance for acid reflux and thus can Inturn cause throat infection .
proton pump inhibitors taken once daily for 3 weeks.
and if u have phlegm its infection indication,
u should start macrolide antibiotic for a period of 5 days
