Could Acne On Neck Be Related To Bacterial Vaginitis?

I am a 42 year old female and this year have been experiencing some BV. At first the OBGYN said it is normal and u didn't notice much of s smell. As the year went on I called the doctor and they prescribed me with one pill to take. I noticed a smell again and called the dr for both myself and my husband to be treated. My concern is this...I have had this acne on my face for about a year now. It is on my neck area and does not go away...can the two be related?
