Could Bacterial Vaginosis With Itching And Dryness Be Due To Peroxide?

I used a hydrogen peroxide douche about a week ago because I figured I had another batch of bacterial vaginitis. It was one half water one half hydrogen peroxide. Ever since then, I ve been extremely itchy and dry down there. I went to the doc and she diagnosed me with bv like I thought. I m taking metrodonizole to treat it Nd am halfway through the course of antibiotics and STILL have no relief! How can I stop this annoyance? Could it be I m having an allergic reaction to the peroxide from earlier?
