Could Being Long Hours In The Pool Cause Pain In Ears When Pulled Down?

My daughter has been in the pool a lot lately. She s had pain upon pulling of her ear which, in my mind, was indicative of swimmers ear. However, now she only complains of pain when I pull down on the ear & her concha hurts when I palate it. It s not swollen, just a little red. She was badly sunburned on the rest of her body. Is it possible that that s sunburn? She has no pain when I touch her Tragus either.

-it can be a local bacterial infection in the concha which can be treated with a antibacterial lotion.

- use a sunscreen lotion for the sunburns. use SPF 15 .
