Could Boils On Face After Periods And Before Ovulation Be Due To Hormonal Imbalance?

i get severe boils on my face especially cheek area and nose right after my periods and before ovulation starts. They become filled with pus and inflamed and very painful. Is it a hormonal imbalance?

I am going to be 39 this sept and have very scanty periods.

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.

You may have acne with secondary infection. It can be due to hormonal imbalance. It is the most common cause of acne. Consult your doctor and take treatment for it
