Could Brain Cancer Spread To Other Parts Of The Body?
Hello my name is Denzil. A friend had stage 4 brain cancer. She has since had an opperation to remove the cancer from her brain- well, what about the other parts of the body it spread to. She is doing fine now but she had no treatments to help the part of her body the cancer spread to. I am wondering if she really had brain cancer. Does brain cancer usually return?

Brain cancer can spread to other organs of body too.
It spreads locally as well as distally by either lymphatic route or hematogenous route.
Common distal organs for metastases are
1. Liver
2. Lung
3. Bones
4. Intestines etc.
So brain tumour can recurr again in brain also as well as in distal organs.
So brain tumour can reappear.
Brain cancer can spread to other organs of body too.
