I have been diagnosed with hypothyroidism and am taking 75 micro of synthroid. I have been having problems breathing especially in the night. I feel like I have a drop in my blood sugar but am wandering if my problem breathing is caused from the goiter.
Hello welcome to HCM. Breathlessness may be due to three reasons. First-Change in the thyroid hormone level causes breathlessness.Sec-Lower blood glucose level also cause breathlessness.Third cause may be related to heart. Just get blood check up to see glucose and thyroid hormone level. To know about heart, get ECG . Please get these tests and go and show it to physician. He will guide you further steps. Take care
