Could Brown Discharge After Having Unprotected Sex While Being On Pill Indicate Pregnancy?
I was having unprotected sex with my boyfriend for roughly 5 months.. And ive recently went back on my pill (25 days ago) i think. Last night when we had sex i had a brown discharge after.. Ive never had it before and it wasn t rough sex. We have been together 3 years so nothing different. Am i likely to be pregnant? If so when do i do a test? Thanks
Hi, Thanks for the query. While being on pill some amount of irregularity in menstrual flow is common. After completion of the active pills of the pack, withdrawal bleeding can be seen sometimes. Brown color usually indicates collected blood. This spotting may subside soon or sometimes it may continue as withdrawal bleeding. If you used the pills as per the guidelines, the possibility of pregnancy is less. For more details: http://srsree.blogspot.com/2013/11/general-guidelines-of-using-combined . tel
If you missed any of the pills, the possibility of pregnancy is less. In that case, you wait till your expected date of withdrawal bleeding. If you miss the date, go for pregnancy test once. Take care.
