Could Bubbling Sound In Abdomen Indicate Tapeworms?

Hi there On two separate occasions in the last year I have found what I believe to be a tapeworm in the toilet. My GP did a stool test which showed nothing. I am still worried and I keep hearing the sound of bubbles popping in my stomach especially at night when I am up and unable to sleep. Do you think I might have worms? I took one medication (2 tablets followed by purge) a couple of months ago but it hasn t made a difference Many thanks

I really appreciate your concern, at the most you can go for second time test of stool examination with some authentic laboratory, if this is unremarkable then it is not the worm infestation, presence of worm doe not produce any sound, neither any specific symptoms of defecation, it can only be visible in stool, no need to have any medicine without the sign of infestation, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
