Hello!

Thank you for asking on HCM!

I carefully passed through your question and would explain that there are different causes of a ruptured blood vessel.

Uncontrolled high blood pressure or other causes (violent coughing, powerful sneezing, heavy lifting, vomiting) could lead to this finding.

I would like to review your performed tests.

A brain CT scan may be needed besides some blood lab tests (complete blood count, PCR, sedimentation rate).

I would also recommend to closely monitor your blood pressure.

Hope to have been helpful!
Best wishes,
Dr. Aida
