Could Cetirizine And Cortisone Be The Cause For Delayed Periods?
Hello, I started an antibiotic, got a pretty severe allergic reaction, went on Benadryl, went OFF Benadryl because it wasn t helping, and got prescribed Prednisone (steroid) and Cetirizine (antihistamine) to combat the reaction. Could this be enough cause for my late period, now late 3-4 days?

Hello,
Usually, an allergic reaction doesn't lead to a delayed period. Up to one week delay can occur sometimes due to obesity, stress, fasting etc.
If your period delayed for more than one week than further workup needed in form of urine HCG card test and ultrasonography of pelvis.
