Could Chemical Pregnancy Lead To Weak Legs And Light Headedness?
I have just recently found out I'm having a chemical pregnancy. I haven't bled yet and I'm about a week after period was originally due. Today I'm having a little lightheadedness and feel weak in my knees/legs, could this be caused by the chemical pregnancy?
Hi, Thanks for the query. Hypoglycemia can be seen during pregnancy. That can lead to lightheadedness. Chemical pregnancy itself may not be responsible for weakness. But possible coinciding general conditions like anemia can lead to weakness. Better to repeat the ultrasound after one week. If chemical pregnancy is confirmed, take tablets to induce abortion with your doctor's advice. Check for hemoglobin levels, blood sugar and blood pressure. Depending on the reports, if needed you can go for iron supplementation. Start taking folic acid supplementation three months before planning for next pregnancy. Take care.
