Could Cleaning With A Cotton Bud Cause Increased Urethral Sensation And Red And White Patches At The Meatal Opening?

I had frequent urge for urination lately like some foreign body sensation in my urethra . So i decided to clean it using a cotton bud. It hurted while cleaning and now the sensation has increased and there is a red and white patches in my meatal opening
