Could Clotrimazole Delay Periods?

Hi, i have taken a home pregnancy test, that come out negative. however my periods are overdue. I have been taking clotrimazole viginal tablets for a candida infection, can that have altered the result..the medicine is still in alot in my vigina and comes out with the urine. thanks
