Could Cough With Phelgm Be The Side Effect Of Metoprolol

my mother s doctor has changed her blood pressure medication. she is now taking metoprolol once a day in addition to her daily lisinopril. She has developed a cough with phlegm. I know a side effect of her meds is a cough, but am unsure if it s a dry or a wet cough. Does this sound like it could be a side effect or is it more likely a chest cold?
