Could Coughing Up Of Blood Be Due To Nodule In Lung?

Hi, could you tell me if a 13mm nodule in the lung is classed as being big, I am having a pet scan to see if it s benign or cancerous, symptoms I have in the week, coughing up blood in phlegm short of breath, etc, I have a sinus infection with polyps, could that make a nodule in the lung. Thank you

Nodule in lung may be benign or cancerous. Hilar lymph nodes are enlarged on acoount of infection or environmental pollution. Blood in cough may be due to tuberculosis or malignanacy. It may be due to upper respiratory tract infections. Have a pet CT to rule out these conditions.
