Could Cramping And Spotting Indicate Pregnancy?

I have been taking loestrin 24 fe since late march. Obgyn said i didn t need a backup birth control after a month-do late April I quit. My family doctor prescribed me amoxicillan a week ago. Been cramping and spotting today. What are the chances of pregnancy?

hi loestrine fe is a birth control pill only containing ethinyl estradiol and norethidrone so there is no role of back up.assuming you must be having some infection for which you were prescribed amoxycilin.there is no drug interaction between amoxicillin and loestrine.cramping and spotting can be due to light period or in case in between periods it can be breakthrough bleeding due to hormonal imbalance.in all likelihood you will not be pregnant.so don't worry.all the best take care.
