Could Cramps, Pink And Brown Discharge With White Clots With History Of Having Unprotected Sex Be Pregnancy Symptoms?

I started my last period on 1/19/14. On 2/2/14 (or 1 am 2/3/14) my husband and I had sex (trying to conceive). I had cramps the morning or 2/5 they were mild the that afternoon I had some pink in my discharge and letter in evening i had a small amount of brown. Today, 2/7, I have been cramping again and had a tiny brownish clotty thing like the size if a booger when I wiped. The all day a wet white discharge. Just now I peed and had a white colored clot in toilet. It was maybe 1 1/2 - 2 inches in length and as big around as my pinky. What could this all be?? Am I about to start? Could it be pregnancy symptoms? So confused

Hello,
I think I can help answer your question.
I see that you are trying to conceive and you did exactly the right thing by having sex when you did. This seems to be very good timing. I am wondering if what you are experiencing is "implantation bleeding." It takes about 5 days for the fertilized egg to travel down the Fallopian tube. Once it implants in the uterus, you may experience some mild bleeding, or brown discharge, or even cramping like you described. Hopefully this is the case. It doesn't not seem that it is time for your period yet since you started your period on 1/19/14. Is your period usually regular? Do you have a 28 day cycle or sometimes is it shorter than that? If you are regular and have your period once per month, it is more likely that you are having implantation than your period. The time course you described seems right for implantation bleeding. However, the home pregnancy test will likely not turn positive until the first day of your missed period. You could have a blood test done sooner but this is probably not necessary. Wait until the first day of your missed period and then take a test. I will keep my fingers crossed for you.
