Could Dark Purple Nodule Protruding From Right Tonsil Indicate Tonsillitis?

I have developed a dark purple nodule (~4mm diameter 8-9mm length) protruding from my right tonsil. 31, male, crohns disease treated with remicade, chronic allergic rhinitis (nasal congestion, post-nasal drip, have been forcefully expectorating mucus). Tonsilitis?

Purple module will be enlarged vein. As condition I'd asymptomatic no active treatment is required. Wait and watch approach it will subside by itself .try to avoid trauma to tonsil as it cause enlarged vein to rupture
