Could Dehydration Be The Cause Of Headaches And Blurry Vision?
I am 20, Female and weigh 137 and I am 5 foot 2 and had a baby 5 months ago. For about a week I have been getting an odd feeling on my left side near my abdomen. It started feeling like something was moving then it started feeling like a twitching feeling. Now it happens more often and feels like a pulsating feeling. I am on a birth control pill and about a month ago I was very lightheaded and weak all of the time and would get blurry vision which was either in the form of circles or lines that followed with a major headache. The hospital told me that the blurry vision and headaches were migraines and that I was weak and lightheaded due to dehydration. The gave me fluids and felt way better and got my energy back. I still get the migraines every now and then. But I was really wondering about the pulsating feeling in my left side. It happens maybe more than 10 times a day at this point.
hi thanks for using health care magic. Pulsatile head ache or migraine is associated with vision problem many a time. Dehydration can precipitate such things. Migraine headache classically present with pulsatile headache, as it is due to spasm of blood supplying artery of brain. but once you are under treatment, you should be completely symptom free. let me know which drugs you are taking currently. thanks
