Could Delay In Period Be Caused Due To Pregnancy?

hi,I had sex on the 9th day of the cycle by mistake and took postinor 2 since we already have 4 kids and can t afford to be pregnant again. Today is the 34th day of the cycle but there is no sign of periods/bleeding. I always get it on the 28th day. I had had no sex until the 22nd day and after that had on few days thinking it would be the last 7 days of the cycle. I am really really worried and stressed.

Thanks for posting in HCM.
I have read your description and understand your concern.
Postinor 2 is an emergency contraceptive pill, which needs to be taken within 72 hours of having unprotected intercourse.
By your description, what you have done seems to be right.
These emergency contraceptive pill like Postinor 2 would prevent pregnancy by causing withdrawal bleeding within 3 weeks from the day of intake of the pill.
In case, bleeding does not happen by 3 weeks, you need to seek medical attention immediately. There could be a chance of failure of such pills as the failure rate is about 10%.
Kindly consult Gynecologist in this regard for evaluation and management.
