Hello,

First of all, although the home pregnancy test came negative, it is advisable to consult a gynecologist when there is delay in menstruation for nearly 2 months. Other causes can be stress, inflammation or hormonal imbalance.

Your gynecologist after doing physical examination might suggest you to get a lower abdomen ultrasound as well as some diagnostic blood tests done for better understanding. Depending on the cause she will prescribe you appropriate medications and guide you further with best management.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
