Could Delayed Periods Along With Sore Breasts Be The Early Signs Of Pregnancy?

Goodmorning doc, I had an unprotected sex for 2days, and on d third day I took a postinor2 (1tab) I was suppose to see my period 23rd of this month but now it s 31IST, my boobs r larger, nipple hurts, and I pea frequently.. could dis be early signs of pregnancy?

Hi,

Delay in period can be due to Postinor-2. Following the pills periods are delayed by 8-10 days. Postinor-2 when taken within 82 hours of sex, mostly avoids conception. Your other symptoms can be due to high level of hormone in Postinor. You should wait for periods till 10 days after the pills. In carrying no period till then, it can be conception due to previous sex or menstrual irregularity due to hormonal imbalance (which needs to be investigated for) have to consult a gynecologist in such a case.
