Could Dental Abscess Be Due To Flucoxacillin Taken For Ear Infection?

Hi My husband is currently taking a course of flucoxacillin 500mg fours times a day for an ear infection. He started the 7 day course on Monday, he is now complaining of possible dental abcess . Will the current course treat this also? I have advised him to visit dentist.

Dear,
It is less likely that flucloxacillin will causea dental abscess. Rather it is used for treatment of the same.
There may be some other reason for dental abscess .flucloxacillin will cure ur dental abscess most probably.
Visit a dentist if needed.
