hello I had unprotected sex with a man that I was seeing for a while exactly a day after I had diarrhea and headache the muscle pain I continue to have joint pain and dry mouth. Mean I don t have a sore throat don t have a headache anymore, but I m afraid it s HIV I did get tested with the rapid and it came out negative however I have taken an early detection HIV test I m still waiting on that what are my chances that I have HIV

You may get HIV test again after a month. The symptoms of diarrhea, sore throat etc., develop approximately one month after contracting infection. In the meanwhile, you are advised to practice safe sex.
