Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern that you need to get pregnant.
i pill is an emergency emergency contraceptive pill. It has to be taken within 72 hours if unprotected sex. It prevents pregnancy by withdrawal bleeding within 3 weeks from the date of it's consumption. It is not known cause further effects afterwards on fertility.
If you are trying to conceive and is delayed, kindly work up for the following on consultation with Gynecologist to find out the cause, so that it could be addressed to.
1. Follicular Scan for ovulation.
2. Histo Salpingio Gram (HSG) to know the tube patency and details of uterine cavity.
3. Semen analysis of your partner to know the fertility index.
These will tell you what should be done next.
Wish you all the best.
