Could Dislocation Of Neck Be The Cause For Pain At The Back Of Head?

i have had this dull ache in the back of my head down my neck into my shoulders for about 3 yrs now i have been to the doctor and they said my neck was shifted i dont know if that is the case. i get headaches from this and i would really like to know something
