Could Dizziness Be Associated To Ear Drum Repair Done Previously?

Had a hole in ear drum repaired over 20 years ago. Now the hole has slowly came back and I am needing to have a graft done but have been putting it off. Is this the reason I could feel dizziness? I describe it as dizzy but the room does not spin, it like a since of floating or something. Weird feeling.

General Surgeon 's  Response
HI. The direct entry of air, noise and all can stimulate the internal apparatus more giving you this weird feeling. Floating or something sensation also can be due to a generalized reason like flu, and weakness.
Get once checked by an ENT Surgeon just to ascertain that every thing is normal.
