Hi, If I were your treating Doctor With such presentations in my clinic, I would first rule out serious conditions by doing following test ,CT brain and MRI or CT ear to rule out the bony and soft issue abnormalities in the ear. normally there will be a connection between the ear and brain and many nerves enter into the ear from the brain. so there is possibility of any nerve damage or any bony fracture compressing the nerves in the inner or middle ear, which can be confirmed by doing audiometry test. so you need an immediate consultaion with ENT specialist regarding this without any delay.
Please let me know if you have further questions before meeting your primary care Doctor.
