Could Ear Pain And Pressure With Cracks In Jaw Be Recurred Infection?
Hi - thank you. Over the last several months, I have been having ear pain as well as jaw joint pain. I went to a local clinic and found that I had an ear infection. They prescribed an anti-biotic which I took for 10 days. It cleared up the infection but did not clear up the ear discomfort and sore jaw. When I chew food, my jaw will make small cracks and crackling sensation with mild pain, on a scale about a 3. My ear deep inside feels like there is some pressure. The pain emanates down my neck about 1 below my jaw bone. I also have some swelling on my lymph node under the jaw. I went back to the clinic and the examiner said that my ear drum looked a bit concaved like it was stuck as if going up in plane and the ear not de-pressurizing. They said it could be a residual condition from the prior infection. Any advice would be appreciated. My Best, Charles
