Could Elevated Liver Enzymes Be The Cause For Cirrhosis?

I have elevated AST and ALT levels. This was only discovered after I went to have surgery and thus was cancelled. After months, it was determined I have hemochromatosis. I had some Phlebotomy work in the past month and my counts have been coming down. I had a high of AST at 696 and ALT at 450. Now AST is 558 and ALT is 308. My blood clotting factor has gone back up with a low of 91 and now last was 108. Liver biopsy shows moderate necroinflammatory activity, grade 1-2 hemosiderosis and cirrhosis. I do not drink alcohol at all, but am overweight and trying to exercise, eat healthy and lose weight. My dr is convinced it is not the enzymes that caused the cirrhosis, but has not clue what it could be so wants me to see a GI dr. I know it can be enzymes or overweight. I feel perfectly fine other than all this bad news that keeps coming my way. Can cirrhosis be reversed and what is likelihood of it being enzymes or overweight as the cause?
