Could Esophageal Spasms Be Due To Elevated D Dimer?

I am a 37 yr old white female, went to the ER due to chest pains cold sweats & numbness adn tingling down my left arm, EKG Normal, D-Dimer should be below 200 was over 1400, xray & CT shows no signs of clots, slight elevation of white cells. DR now thinks this was due to Esopageal spams...Can this cause Elevated D-Dimer ( no Trauma or surgeries)
