Could Feeling The Heartbeat In Right Ear Be Thyroid Problem?

I have had a heart beat in right ear for three months now. I have had a MRI,MRA,and ultra sound. Also EKG and CT scan and have been to many Doctors nobody seems to know why. Went to thyroid Doctor today due to having thyroid cancer back in 2000 to get my thyroid levels my levels were just a little bit off but not bad. Just wonder could this be a thyroid problem.

Hello and welcome.

How was the thyroid cancer managed? If surgery was performed, chem was given or was radio given then this could be a side effect of either of those approaches (affecting the blood vessels), if not then the thyroid cancer could have resulted in enlargement which may be applying pressure on surrounding structures causing a pulsation that you have been experiencing. Returning your thyroid levels to normal or having surgery to remove the tumor can help release pressure.

Best wishes.
