Could Feet Pain And Blurred Vision Be Due To Diabetes?

hello! my doctor told me that i was a boarderline diabetic and that was in February, now three months later my feet hurts my vision is blurry. it's hurts when i sit to long and put pressure down on my feet and when i'm sleep i wake up with a pulling tingle feeling in my foot are sometimes my feet. that bothers me i would like to know is that a sign of becoming a diabetic?
