Could Frequent Urination Be The Symptom Of Diabetes?

I am peeing a lot recently my partner is a nurse and dipped my urine, its got traces of protein and blood in it apparently urine is cloudy a little too I am peein more frequently at night maybe once every 2 hours and it hurts just sometimes although I don t really drink alot. What does this sound like? There is a history of diabetes in the family and I sure hope its nothing to do with that. I do know that having to goto the toilet all the time is one of the signs

Classic symptom of diabetes are polyphagia, polydypsia,and polyurea. So frequent urination is also a symptom oy diabetes. And you are also having family h/o diabetes so you come under high risk group , so you should go to your physician for general physical examination and investigation. Key investigation are RBS, GTT, glycosylated haemoglobin.
